You can find the neighborhood of Northwest Hills in North Austin situated between Highway 1 and Highway 360. Some of the neighboring communities are Arroyo Secco, Chimney Corners, and the Cat Mountain areas. This is an excellent location for anyone that either works in North Austin or downtown Austin.

If your commute will take you to the downtown or capital area you aren’t far away. It is a seven-mile drive and will take 15-20 minutes on average. If you happen to work in North Austin where many of the tech companies are located six to nine miles away and will take 12-18 minutes.
Students in the Northwest Hills community are part of the Austin Independent School District. Your younger children might attend one of these schools Doss Elementary, Highland Park Elementary, Murchison Middle School, or Lamar Middle School. There are two excellent high schools in the area which are Anderson High School and McCallum High School.
