Twelve miles to the east is the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, and from there you can catch flights to just about anywhere in the country and some international flights as well. Those that will be commuting to North Austin for work will find they are sixteen to twenty-two miles away from most of the major employers. Having a long commute is a trade-off because although the commute is longer, the housing prices are much lower in Westcreek.
The students in the Westcreek area fall under the Austin Independent School District.
