Being right along the Colorado River, there’s a lot to do outdoors in Spicewood. Recreation spaces include Grelle Recreation Area and Krause Springs. The Briarcliff Marina offers boat rentals. There’s also the Muleshoe Bend Recreation Area, where you can hike, bike, go horseback riding.
Spicewood offers plenty of family-friendly activities. You can go swimming at Pace Bend Park. You can also kayak or tubing. For more adventurous kids, you can even try cliff diving. You can also go ziplining with Cypress Valley Canopy Tours. In addition to tours, you can camp out in one of the treehouses. At the El Gaucho Winery, there’s the wine for the adults and teepees for the kids to play in.
Shopping in Spicewood includes the Shops of Spicewood, which has several unique little shops such as Bella Vita Boutique, Protein Pub for Pampered Pups, and Janey’s Classy Consignments. Another popular shop in Spicewood is Whimsy Me, which sells all kinds of goods, including candles, clothing, and home goods.
